Flu season is almost here, in all its coughing, wheezing, sniffling and sneezing glory.

To prepare for the ickiest time of the year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend everyone get a flu vaccine by the end of the October. The flu = FOMO, so be sure to pencil in a time to get vaccinated, ASAP.

If you’re insured, your primary doctor or workplace will likely offer a free flu vaccination, but so do popular retailers. Many big chains even sweeten that shot for you with incentives like discounts or coupons. Consider it an award for #adulting.

Don’t have insurance? Retailers are offering flu shots at competitive prices—like for $19.99 at Costco. So even the uninsured can pay a price for a flu shot that may be a lot cheaper than urgent care visits when sick. It’s totally worth it.

Where to get free or affordable flu shots this year:

Walgreens: Offering free flu shots with most insurance, and with every flu shot administered, Walgreens will donate $0.22 to the United Nations Foundation.

Target: Offering free flu shots for eligible patients when an immunizing pharmacist is on duty, and a $5 Target coupon.

CVS: Offering free flu shots for eligible patients, along with a $5 off $25 coupon and $5 ExtraBucks for Pharmacy & Health Rewards members.

Rite Aid: Offering free flu shots for eligible patients and 25 Wellness Points for every shot.

Kmart: Offering free flu shots for eligible patients, and flu shots count toward Pharmacy Rewards.

Publix: Offering free flu shots for eligible patients, plus a free $10 Publix gift card.

Walmart: Offering free flu shots for eligible patients.
