You’re probably still coming down from that Halloween sugar high, but Amazon is already moving full force into a Black Friday bonanza, rolling out deep deals and discounts weeks ahead of the Super Bowl of shopping. So grab your list and check it twice!
Amazon’s virtual Black Friday Deals store is officially open for business, and will be rolling out daily discounts in the days leading up to Black Friday. But pace yourself and work on building up that shopping stamina—you don’t want to break your budget before the big day.
In the days leading up to Nov. 24, Amazon says it will be offering deals on electronics, DVDs, kitchen appliances, toys and more. I took a quick look at what products were on sale the day this article was written, Nov. 2, and found a few standout deals, including:
- 47 percent off a vacuum cleaner.
- 37 percent off a home theater package.
- 22 percent off a Fire TV Stick and Echo Dot.
And if we know anything, we know that Amazon isn’t shy about being extra. The e-commerce giant is extending Black Friday into Black Friday Deals Week, as well as Cyber Monday Deals Week. Why limit discounts to just one day?
This year, not only will shoppers have more deals to shop, but more ways to shop, as well. Amazon shoppers can order Prime-eligible products with their girl Alexa, as well as through the Amazon app, which now has an augmented reality feature for shoppers with iOS11 installed on an iPhone 6s or later.
Because basic just isn’t their style, Amazon is also introducing “Treasure Trucks” this year, which will be available in 25 cities. Shoppers can now opt-in to receive special offers on their Amazon app, order the item and then pick it up at the Treasure Truck.
